Tap water first passes through a bed of Eaglyte - a special media designed to remove lead, mercury and other heavy metals. The second step features activated coconut shell carbon granules that naturally remove organic chemicals, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides as well as bad tastes and odors. Both media remove chlorine. Easy installation instructions are included for the simple 3-point hook-up of this 2.5-pound compact 9.75" H x 3" OD unit.
