The two-stage Eagle Spring Model 2025 Under Sink Water Filter protects you from the cryptosporidium and other bacteria that aren't removed in many municipal treatment plants. The first stage filter of Eaglyte and activated coconut carbon granules removes lead, mercury and other heavy metals as well as dangerous pesticides, herbicides and other volatile organic chemicals. The second stage's solid carbon block cartridge extracts even more chemicals and its ceramic inner liner removes bacteria, protozoa, salmonella, e. coli, cryptosporidium and giardia cysts. The compact design of 14" H x 5.5" D x 13" W weighs 10 lbs. and installs easily with the included hardware and instructions. The replaceable cartridges last through approximately 8,000 gallons or three years when used with a standard U.S. municipal water supply.
