Research indicates that Phyllanthus contains
approximately 30% vitamin C (approximately 3000 mg. per
fruit) and 480 units of SOD per gram. Amolo has been
shown to enhance production and secretion of interferon
and corticosteroids. Increases blood cell count and
regulates blood sugar.
The thermostability of the vitamin C in Amolo is very
important. The thermostability of the vitamin is due to
the way the vitamin is bound up with certain tannins
that make it nearly impervious to dissolution after
drying, aging or subjection to heat
