:.Wonderful Latin America:  It was once again pleasure visit to Latin America. Started with Bogotá, Colombia were 23 Modern Medical doctors attended Ayurveda seminar for 4 days. It was the 1st ever Ayurveda event in Asuncion, Paraguay, where 19 Therapists were trained for ayurveda massage and other panchkarma therapies. Rio was recharging as usual. Yoga teachers were trained to apply fundamental knowledge of ayurveda in their daily life. Chakra cleansing, detoxification of mind and body to achieve higher goals in yoga were the subjects of interest. Next year it will be a seminar of 3 days in Rio for these subjects. New proposals from Argentina and Uruguay are also under consideration. East coast of USA (New Jersey and New York) and Dallas, TX (USA) was relaxing time. Meeting with old and new ayurveda friends, patients and relatives was wonderful. Overall it was great time for me, which I wish to repeat every year.

Some interesting points of my this visit, I would like to discuss some time, viz, Traditions like Terere in Paraguay, Vegetarian Latin American food in Rio (Brazil), Daily life style in Colombia. and Commercial Ayurveda in west. Thank you. - Prerak

• Swistra or Kustha, meaning white spots, or that he turned white, are committed to the three doshas, and three dathus (Mamsa, Rakta and Meda);
• Its origin from the standpoint of Ayurveda, is related to:
- Poor diet, inadequate food combination
- Disruption of daily regimen
- Source ‘Karma’
- Combined aspects of the three previous
• The differential diagnosis includes Ptiriasis versicolor, leukoplakia, and hypopigmentation idiopathic, with that in vitiligo patches are generally well-defined edges and are shiny lesions;
• Vitiligo predominating vata, usually shows lesions with a tendency to be somewhat less than rosy, and it is accompanied by dry, hyperpigmented edges, there Dathu Rakta commitment;
• Vitiligo with preodminating Pitta is associated with lesions tending to be reddish, are associated with burning and destroying the hair follicles, there Dathu Mamsa commitment;
• Vitiligo predominantly Kapha, shows more white lesions, and it is accompanied by itching, commitment Dathu Meda;
• Technically, the Vata predominance Vitiligo is easier to treat than Pitta predominance, and this is easier to treat than the predominantly Kapha;
• Auqnue appears that the differentiation between types of vitiligo is not necessary for treatment, if it is to determine their prognosis.
