- This 46" H x 8.4"
OD cylinder weighs 104 pounds and produces a flow rate of
15 gallons per minute.
- It's total capacity is approximately
1,000,000 gallons depending on the source water.
- The 1000K can be installed
in a parallel position for higher flow rates and larger
piping.
- These large capacity systems
can be easily installed to handle all of the water throughout
your house.
- First, raw water flows through
a 25 micron pre-filter cartridge to remove heavy sediment.
Then, it enters the distribution tube and travels through
the distribution basket. The water is then dispersed through
the patented Eaglyte media to remove the inorganic contaminants
such as lead and other heavy metals - a function that carbon
alone can not handle.
- In the second stage of filtering,
chlorine and volatile organic chemicals that produce bad
taste and odor are absorbed into a complex maze of granular
activated carbon.
- Finally, the filtered water
exits through a 5 micron post-filter to catch any fine carbons
which could escape the unit in an initial flush.
- Three year pro-rata warranty
when used on U.S. municipally treated water supplies.
- Not recommended for well
systems.
