How does the MiracleAir HEPA Filtration System Work?

Air contaminated with dirt, dust, smoke and pollen is forced through a three (3) stage filtering process:

• The FIRST STAGE: The impregnated, activated carbon pre-filter traps large particles like dust and pet hairs, protecting your HEPA filter and extending its life!
• The SECOND STAGE: 82 Square Feet of hospital grade HEPA filter will remove up to 99.97% of the smaller 0.3 sub-micron particles which pass through the pre-filter. The HEPA filter could last up to 5 years!
• The THIRD STAGE: The 15 pound* carbon/potassium permanganate filter removes odors, gases, chemical, toxins and vapors (i.e. formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, xylene, etc.). This CP filter could last from 1 to 5 years depending on the environment it's being used in.
  (*12 pounds of activated carbon, 3 pounds of alumina potassium permanganate.)

And, unlike other units in it's class, all 3 stages of filtration used in the MiracleAir HEPA filter system are separate from each other. Each filter can be individually changed!

The fan motor is a long life PSC (permanent split capacitor) with sealed bearings making it twice as efficient as standard motors.
